Business Education Alliance

Business Education Alliance

Iowa’s low unemployment rate is an indicator of a healthy economy, yet when combined with low population growth, it presents challenges to employers looking to fill current and future jobs. A united effort between business and job creators is needed to collectively understand and address the workforce challenges facing our state’s businesses and schools.

The Iowa Business Council is leading this effort by bringing all of the stakeholders – business, secondary education, and K-12 – to the table to develop and implement strategies that better align business and education to meet current and future workforce needs.
